Settings

The settings page lets you manage your personal profile, farm information, security settings, and account.

Profile

Your personal profile information:

Name — your display name throughout the app
Email — your account email (used for sign-in and notifications)
Profile Photo — an optional avatar for your account

Farm Profile

Details about your farm or operation:

Farm Name — the name of your farm (e.g., "Bickell Ranch"). This appears in the app header and on any shared documents.
Location — your farm's general location

You can update your farm profile at any time. These details were set during initial account setup and can be modified here.

Security

Change Password

If you signed up with email and password, you can change your password here:

Go to Settings
Click Change Password
Enter your current password
Enter and confirm your new password
Save

Tip

If you signed up with Google or Magic Link, you won't have a password to change. You can add a password to your account if you want the option of signing in with email and password as well.

Active Sessions

View your currently active sessions across devices. You can sign out of individual sessions if you see one you don't recognize.

Account Deletion

If you need to delete your HorseBook account:

Go to Settings
Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account
Confirm the deletion

Warning

Account deletion is permanent. All your data — horses, medical records, documents, expenses, contacts, calendar events, and uploaded files — will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.

Make sure to export any data you want to keep (such as your horse list CSV) before deleting your account.
