Today Tab

The Today tab is the first thing you see when you open HorseBook. It shows a monthly calendar with your scheduled events so you always know what is coming up.

Calendar View

The top of the screen displays the current month in a standard calendar grid. Days with events are marked with dots. Tap any date to see the events scheduled for that day in the list below the calendar.

Swipe left or right on the calendar to move between months. Tap the month title to jump back to the current date.

Viewing Events

When you select a date, all events for that day appear in a list below the calendar. Each event shows:

• The event title
• The time (if set)
• The associated horse (if linked to one)
• The event type (vet visit, farrier, show, custom, etc.)

Tap an event to see its full details or edit it.

Adding Events

Tap the + button to create a new event on the selected date. You can set:

• Title — what the event is (e.g., "Spring vaccinations")
• Date and time — defaults to the selected date
• Horse — optionally link the event to a specific horse
• Notes — any additional details

Events you create appear on the calendar and in the horse's detail view if linked.

Pull to Refresh

Pull down on the event list to refresh and sync the latest data from the server. This picks up events added from the web or changes made on another device.
